Brewers Association Seats 2017 Board of Directors

Boulder, CO • February 22, 2017—The Brewers Association (BA)—the not-for-profit trade group dedicated to promoting and protecting America’s small and independent craft brewers—announced its 2017 Board of Directors.

The Board guides the strategic direction of the BA and governs the activities of the professional division of the BA, as well as the American Homebrewers Association, Brewers Publications and BA events including the Great American Beer Festival®Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America® and SAVOR. Rob Tod, founder of Allagash Brewing Company, leads the board as chair, serving his second term.

“In the face of many exciting opportunities and challenges, this is a dynamic time to be a small and independent brewer,” said Tod. “It is an honor to serve and speak for this growing community of innovators who push the envelope when it comes to brewing. I look forward to working alongside many of my admired craft brewing colleagues to continue making this a great industry, both for those who work in it and the beer lovers who get to enjoy it.”
