Brewers Association Accessibility Statement

The Brewers Association is committed to making our websites (www.CraftBeer.com, www.BrewersAssociation.org, www.HomebrewersAssociation.org, www.GreatAmericanBeerFestival.com, www.CraftBrewersConference.com, www.WorldBeerCup.org) accessible to individuals with disabilities. We are dedicated to providing an inclusive online experience for all users and continuously strive to improve the accessibility of our websites.

Here are some of the accessibility features of our website:

  • Color contrast: The website has been designed with high color contrast to make text and images easier to read.
  • Alternative text: All images on our website have alternative text descriptions to provide a meaningful description of the image for those using screen readers.
  • Text size: You can increase or decrease the text size of the website using your browser’s text size settings.
  • Dynamic Adjustments: Our website features accessiBe, which allows users to choose accessibility adjustments and enhancements specific to their needs.

We Perform Routine Audits.

Routine audits are run on the websites using Google’s open-source, automated tool for improving the quality of web pages called “Lighthouse”. It provides detailed audits of a website’s accessibility using WCAG 2.1 (A), WCAG 2.0 (A) guidelines and provides a report with suggestions for improvement in the form of a scorecard.  Suggested improvements are then made by ADA specialists to assure our website is operating at optimal accessibility.

Encounter an Accessibility Issue?

If you encounter any accessibility issues or have any questions about our accessibility efforts, please contact us at web_dept@brewersassociation.org. We will make every effort to respond to your concerns in a timely and effective manner.
