Pete Johnson serves as the State & Regulatory Affairs Manager for the Brewers Association (BA). He joined the BA at its inception in 2005, having previously worked as Programs Director for the Brewers Association of America. Before coming to the small brewing industry in 2001, Pete worked for 14 years with both state and federal elected officials in Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.

While in his home district, U.S. Congressman Scott Tipton (CO-3) stopped by Pagosa Brewing in Pagosa Spring, Colo. Pagosa Brewing is a small-yet-growing brewpub located in southern Colorado. Head brewer and president Tony Simmons, along with members of his staff, gave the Congressman a tour of the brewery and a sneak peek at their upcoming expansion.

As a member of the House Small Brewers Caucus and a co-sponsor of the Small BREW Act, Congressman Tipton supports the contributions that small brewers have made to communities in Colorado and across the country.
