Recently both Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton visited small breweries.
Hillary Clinton was on an East Coast tour and stopped in to Smuttynose Brewing Co. in Hampton, New Hampshire. After a tour of the brewery, Clinton held a roundtable discussion to discuss various issues including obstacles small businesses face.
While traveling through Arizona, Jeb Bush stopped into Four Peaks Brewing Co. in Tempe. The topic of small business was also the theme of this visit.
As small and independent breweries open in communities around the country, craft beer becomes more ingrained in American culture. It’s no surprise that politicians understand this and are taking the opportunity to meet with these small business owners and the community that loves their products to garner support for the upcoming election.
