Ryan Wagner Joins the Draught Beer Quality Subcommittee

The Brewers Association is pleased to announce the addition of a new member of the Draught Beer Quality Subcommittee, Ryan Wagner of the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore.

Ryan currently serves as the Brewery Ambassador for the Guinness Open Gate Brewery, handling beer quality (both on-site at the brewery and in the market), training, education, and media appearances. His background is unique, starting with a career as a stage actor, including touring North America in the West End version of The Wizard of Oz, working as a host and content creator for Major League Baseball’s Fan Cave, and serving as the public address announcer for the Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, which he continues to do today.

The Draught Beer Quality Subcommittee focuses on delivering high quality draught beer at retail. Subcommittee activities include publication of the Draught Beer Quality Manual and conducting the Draught Beer Quality Summit at the Craft Brewers Conference®. Current subcommittee members are Bridget Gauntner (Chair), Ben Geisthardt, Rob Gerrity, Ken Grossman, Jaime Jurado, Charles Kyle, John Mallett, Matt Meadows, Todd Blondis, Jeff Schaefer, David Munro, Ken Smith, Neil Witte, and Brewers Association staff members Paul Gatza, Damon Scott, Chuck Skypeck, and Chris Swersey.
