The Brewers Association would like to inform all Export Development Program members of the 2014 Barcelona Beer Festival in Barcelona, Spain. We will have a booth, showcasing American craft beers.
Barcelona Beer Festival
April 11-13, 2014
The Barcelona Beer Festival is one of Spain’s largest trade and consumer shows, this year will be the third festival. The show runs from April 11-13, 2014. This will be the BA’s first appearance at the Festival. The BA will feature a range of beers, promoting the diversity and quality of American craft beers. Andreas Fält will be representing the Brewers Association at the festival and will be presenting a master class on American craft beer.
This is a great opportunity to get your beers in front of Spanish consumers and the trade who will be at the show.
The BA’s participation in this event is funded by the Association’s Export Development Program. EDP funds are used to sponsor a BA stand at the Festival, cover the costs of a consolidated shipment of beer to Spain and registration costs for US brands in the festival.
The BA will cover the registration cost and a consolidated shipment of beer from the Brewers Association warehouse to Spain for Export Development Program members. If you are not a BA EDP member, contact Mark Snyder to learn more on you can participate.
For this festival, only one-way kegs will be sent.
Please contact Mark Snyder if you are interested in sending one-way beer kegs – no later than Tuesday, March 4. The number of kegs needed will be determined, once I know the number of breweries who want to participate.
I will contact all participating breweries by Thursday, March 6, on the number of brands/one-way kegs needed for this festival.
We will be shipping the American Craft Beers to this international festival via air.
The one-way keg beers need to be delivered by Thursday, March 27 to the BA warehouse.
Contact Mark Snyder for additional information (shipping details & deadlines) if you would like to participate with the BA Export Development Program.
