What’s your current position at your brewery, and how did you get started in the craft brewing industry?
I’m currently managing sales in Maryland for Port City Brewing (Alexandria, Va.). I stumbled into craft beer after years of managing nightclubs in Washington, D.C. Port City was gracious enough to train me in both beer and sales knowledge and I’ve been running full speed with the gospel of craft ever since!

What’s new at Port City?
We’ve invested in a state-of-the-art bottling line that has allowed us to take our dedication to elevating craft beer through consistent quality even further.

What’s the best part of being a part of the craft brewing community?
Every day I meet someone new due to our shared love of craft.

Name a favorite food and beer pairing.
Almost six years later, Port City Optimal Wit and crabs is still my fav.

What’s your biggest accomplishment unrelated to your job?
I’ve been blessed with four amazing children who make every single day worth living.

What’s your favorite beer from another brewery?
MO from Maine Beer Co.

What do you like to do in your time away from the brewery?
I come from a family of musicians so if I’m not slinging suds, chances are you can find me somewhere singing.

What’s the most memorable travel destination at which you’ve had a chance to sample the local beer?
My first experience in Denver (GABF 2015) was unforgettable. So many great beers!
