What’s your current position at your brewery, and how did you get started in the craft brewing industry?
I am the vice president of operations at Holidaily Brewing Company in Golden, Colo. My focus is on building up distribution supply so that our gluten-free beer makes its way to all four corners of Colorado and potentially beyond. Previously I had worked with MillerCoors since 1998 doing supply chain and logistics for their distribution centers.

What’s new at Holidaily?
In May we opened the doors to our 10,000-square-foot production brewery. We’re pretty stoked about it—it’s the largest dedicated gluten-free production brewery in the country!

What’s the best part of being a part of the craft brewing community?
Just that: it’s a great craft brewing community. Everyone is very open to helping each other. On many occasions I’ve called on another brewery for insight into something we’re facing. I’d like to think that I have done the same for them as well. We are all resources for one another.

Name a favorite food and beer pairing.
I love an ice cold Holidaily Favorite Blonde with gluten-free fish and chips from one of our food trucks, Dedicated Bistro.

What’s your biggest accomplishment unrelated to your job?
In 2013 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent six sessions of chemotherapy and a double mastectomy. Today I am five years cancer-free!

What’s your favorite beer from another brewery?
I am a big fan of Boulder Beer Company’s Shake Chocolate Porter. It fulfills both my beer and sweet-tooth craving!

What do you like to do in your time away from the brewery?
Spend time with family and friends. We like to have get-togethers at the house and enjoy good quality time. Of course, beer is always involved.

What’s the most memorable travel destination at which you’ve had a chance to sample the local beer?
We traveled to Kauai, Hawaii as a family and were lucky enough to try beer from Kauai Beer Company. We were in a beautiful place drinking wonderful beer.
