What’s your current position at your brewery, and how did you get started in the craft brewing industry?
I’m currently head of brewing at Ten20 Craft Brewery in Louisville, Ky. I got started in the industry during college, giving tours and washing bottles at the Hoster Brewing Company in Columbus, Ohio.

What’s new at Ten20?
Well…the whole thing. It’s a brand new taproom brewery.

What’s the best part of being a part of the craft brewing community?
Talking with friends in the industry and customers about why they love craft beer.

Name a favorite food and beer pairing.
Just about any bloomy rind cheese and a Saison.

What’s your biggest accomplishment unrelated to your job?
Rescuing my ice climbing partner in the Castskills. 8 hours of down climbing and then a mile hike and an hour ride to the ER. He is healthy and climbing like a champ!

What’s your favorite beer from another brewery?
The one I’m drinking now….seriously, how do you answer that?!

What do you like to do in your time away from the brewery?
Sail, dive, climb, hike, eat, drink.

What’s the most memorable travel destination at which you’ve had a chance to sample the local beer?
Bamberg, Germany. Soo much beautiful smoked lager.
