What’s your current position at your brewery, and how did you get started in the craft brewing industry?
I’m a beertender at Akasha Brewing Company in Louisville, Ky. I got involved by plugging into our local Louisville craft beer scene, which is thriving!

What’s new at Akasha Brewing?
We are constantly releasing innovative small-batch beers. We recently released a pumpkin pastry sour ale.

What’s the best part of being a part of the craft brewing community?
The friendships.

Name a favorite food and beer pairing.
Any carb and beer cheese with a tasty IPA.

What’s your biggest accomplishment unrelated to your job?
Completing two master’s degrees: MAE and MBA.

What’s your favorite beer from another brewery?
I love any beer from Monnik Beer Company in Louisville.

What do you like to do in your time away from the brewery?
Thrift shop, bake, hang out with cats and dogs.

What’s the most memorable travel destination at which you’ve had a chance to sample the local beer?
Denver to visit my family for a wedding. We stopped at Dillon Dam Brewery and had an awesome experience.
