What’s your current position at your brewery?

I am CEO/GM/brewer/sales/janitorial at Scorpion Brewing [in Owings, Md.].

What’s new at Scorpion Brewing?

Everything! We finally opened on October 11, 2014. Most recently we opened up a picnic area behind the brewery.

What’s the best part of being a part of the craft brewing community?

Everyone is supportive.

What do you like to do in your time away from the brewery?

I am a cubmaster and on the vestry at my church.

What’s your favorite food and beer pairing?

Vindaloo and imperial stout.

What’s your favorite beer that your brewery does not produce?

Abandon Brewing Co.’s Belgian Quad.

What’s the most memorable travel destination at which you’ve had a chance to sample the local beer?

I lived in Leuven, Belgium and got to try many local beers.
