What’s your current position at your brewery, and how did you get started in the craft brewing industry?

I’m the owner and brewer at Daytona Beach Brewing Company. I was a longtime homebrewer.

What’s new at Daytona Beach Brewing?

Our brewery just celebrated our three-year anniversary in July. Cheers to three years!

What’s the best part of being a part of the craft brewing community?

Getting to meet people and introduce them to new beer styles.

Name a favorite food and beer pairing.

Pizza and IPA!

What’s your biggest accomplishment unrelated to your job?

Being a father to my wonderful 13-year-old daughter, Meagan.

What’s your favorite beer that your brewery does not produce?

Double bock.

What do you like to do in your time away from the brewery?

Travel around Florida and visit new breweries.

What’s the most memorable travel destination at which you’ve had a chance to sample the local beer?

Traveling through Germany in the 1980s and visiting all the small village breweries. What made it memorable was the uniqueness of each brewery. That’s how it all began for me.
