While our Industry Review issue traditionally focuses on the previous year, it’s hard to ignore the COVID-19 pandemic that is dramatically impacting the craft brewing industry. In our cover story, we examine the ways the pandemic has affected craft breweries, what they’re doing to cope, and how they’re still striving to help their communities in a time of need. The rest of the issue provides a look back at 2019, which was a solid year for craft breweries with 4% overall growth. Taprooms led the charge with 26% growth, accounting for 37% of overall craft growth.
