2017 BA Export Annual Survey

Share Post

The Brewers Association (BA) conducts an export survey annually to assess the international market for American craft beer. This survey is used to publicize the export growth via a press release, and the BA also shares aggregated results in required reporting as part of the grant funding the Export Development Program (EDP) receives from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). In order to maintain and increase the funding the EDP receives from USDA, it is imperative that we capture a full picture of the export landscape for American craft beer.

The survey for 2016 is now live and ready for breweries’ responses on export data by country/region, brands exported, and brewery expenses in support of exports. In most cases, the survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete. For breweries that do not currently export, it shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes. As you review the survey, please note that all responses are fully confidential – the BA does not release any information that an individual brewery provides. All information that the BA shares (either in the press release, to USDA, to other brewers, etc.) is aggregated to show totals among the many breweries that respond.
