TTB Updates Permits Online to Reflect Changes to Bond Requirements

The Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) has provided new guidance concerning applicants who may be exempt from the bond requirement after January 1, 2017. Permits Online has been modified to allow new applicants to indicate if they will or will not need a bond once the new rules become effective. TTB plans to post additional guidance for existing industry members who qualify to have their bond refunded.
