He joined the BA at its inception in 2005, having previously worked as Programs Director for the Brewers Association of America. The Texas Court of Appeals for the Third District issued an opinion reversing a lower court’s determination that a statute prohibiting self-distributing brewers from selling the distribution rights to their products was unconstitutional under the Texas Constitution.
