Passing the House, H.B. 1098 authorizes retail spirits licensees to provide samples of alcoholic beverages on the licensed premises during business hours. Sample quantities are limited for each person during a 24-hour period as follows: beer and wine not to exceed 1 ounce per sample and not to exceed four samples; distilled spirits not to exceed 0.25 ounces per sample and not to exceed four samples.
