He joined the BA at its inception in 2005, having previously worked as Programs Director for the Brewers Association of America. Before coming to the small brewing industry in 2001, Pete worked for 14 years with both state and federal elected officials in Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.

H.B. 546 and companion S.B. 773 would increase the annual production limit of small craft producer pub licensees to 125,000 barrels (from 60,000 barrels) and allow brewpub licensees and small craft producer pub licensees that manufacture beer solely in the state to obtain a direct shipper permit and engage in retail sales at satellite locations.
