The task force formed by the state Treasurer to comprehensively review the laws and regulations governing alcohol and make recommendations for change has issued its findings. Among the recommendations are changes to franchise agreement provisions and terminations and raising the excise tax on beer from 0.11 cents/gallon to 0.16 cents/gallon.
