Latest in Massachusetts “Pay-to-Play” Investigation

In the latest development of the state Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC) investigation into anti-competitive actions, so-called “pay-to-play” practices, five Boston bars have been cited. Previously, the ABCC had issued a notice alleging that distributor Craft Beer Guild LLC had violated state rules against offering inducements to retailers and charging different prices for the same products.
