He joined the BA at its inception in 2005, having previously worked as Programs Director for the Brewers Association of America. Before coming to the small brewing industry in 2001, Pete worked for 14 years with both state and federal elected officials in Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.

Among several provisions, companions A.B. 434 and S.B. 395 seek to prohibit a brewer from making retail sales of beer and intoxicating liquor during hours in which a Class B licensed premises must be closed, i.e. between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. on weekdays and between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. on weekends.
