For the third year, the Brewers Association hosted the National Accounts Craft Expo—an invitation-only event for representatives from retail chains. Beer buyers from companies such as Costco, Target, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Whole Foods sampled beers from small and independent brewers. In addition to the tasting component, this event was an opportunity for buyers to connect with brewery representatives and discuss future business endeavors.
The event wrapped up in time for the kickoff of the Great American Beer Festival, the largest ticketed beer festival in the U.S. attracting 60,000 people for a three day event.
