Craft Brewers Conference 2023
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Speakers: John Byrne, Billy Clayton, Elizabeth Isenbart, Becca Keiffer Toft

We’re back! Last year we presented “National Accounts 101” at the 2022 Craft Brewers Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and there were so many questions submitted we had to come back and dive deeper into your questions. This year we’re going to have deeper discussions about best practices when working with distributors and managing your distribution, how to build a national accounts budget for any size brewery, understanding the differences when selling into different channels (C-store, clubs, on-premise, etc.) and so much more. Our goal is to provide actionable takeaways for attendees to help improve their business and leave you feeling more confident to tackle the world of national accounts.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn best practices for working with distributors to manage brand distribution, sales gaps at retail, and execution of programs Discuss how to build a budget for investment in your national accounts team Walk away with advice for recruiting a national or key account manager Understand differences in sales to different channels like C-store, on-premise, grocery, and clubs Identify the best ways to support to your distribution and retail partners in selling your beer Hear examples of how to use data
