This seminar is going to tackle one of the largest problems in the global workplace: sexual harassment. Everyone admits that it exists and while we hope it doesn’t happen in our workplace, do you know what to do once a complaint of sexual harassment or discrimination has been made in your workplace or brewery? This seminar is meant to bring awareness, but also provide problem solving and investigatory tools to breweries that may or may not be large enough to have a dedicated human resources (HR) professional. This seminar is applicable to all and will examine the entire investigative process from conception to end result. The goal of this seminar is to prevent knee-jerk reactions and provide best practices for resolution so that when a complaint is made you are able to deal with it quickly, effectively, thoroughly, confidentially, and with appropriate end result action.

  • Identify, define, and understand the various ways sexual harassment can be present in the workplace
  • Understand that perception is everything! Discuss training that can be implemented to prevent misconduct Learn how to handle complaints of sexual harassment or discrimination Go over conducting a professional sexual harassment investigation, including methods and best practices Explore how to resolve the conflict and determine what level of action is appropriate and how to document it
