Craft Brewers Conference 2019
Location: Denver, Colorado
Speakers: Aaron Moberger, John Ahern

Improving any aspect of our breweries (safety, quality, efficiency, etc.) requires inputs or resources. We are all very fortunate to work with passionate people who always have ideas to improve our process—and those ideas are a free and limitless resource! In this session, join John Ahern and Aaron Moberger from Harpoon Brewery who will cover how they structure their continuous improvement program, the facets that they believe to be the most important to harnessing their employee owners’ ideas, challenges they have faced and how they changed the program to meet them, and how the program helps their efficiency and improves job satisfaction at the same time.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define realistic goals for a continuous improvement plan
  • Elaborate on some common pitfalls of continuous improvement plans
  • Walk away with a framework you can use to get your own plan started
  • Hear about the successes and challenges Harpoon faced so you can troubleshoot and improve your own plans
