Consumers today are more aware than ever before of the environmental impact brands have, and they are demanding sustainable solutions. Circular designs extend the life span of packaging and ultimately reduce waste. Utilizing the QR code, for example, has enabled packaging designers to acquire marketing insights directly from the consumer, in addition to providing valuable information to the consumer such as the brands recyclability.
Additionally, Connected Packaging is a growing packaging technology that could enable brands to optimize their packaging experience and provide valuable information to the consumer such as the brand’s recyclability. In this seminar, we will discuss:
- The design and innovation of circular packaging
- Expanding the consumer’s awareness of environmental practices and overall brand experience
- Current, pending, and in-the-works regulations around packaging circularity
Learning Objectives:
