What’s your current position at your brewery, and how did you get started in the craft brewing industry?

I am the co-founder and head of sales and distribution at Yonkers Brewing Company [in Yonkers, N.Y.]. I was a finance man in my prior life, but years of wine making with my grandfather brought me to transition into the world of beer.

What’s new at Yonkers Brewing Company?

We are building out a tasting room on the Yonkers Waterfront and are quickly expanding into numerous off-premise locations.

What’s the best part of being a part of the craft brewing community?

I actually look forward to going to “work” every day.

What do you like to do in your time away from the brewery?

Anything active/outdoors/nature related.

What’s your favorite food and beer pairing?

Hot wings and our Yonkers IPA.

What’s your biggest accomplishment unrelated to your job?

Running the NYC Marathon.

What’s your favorite beer that your brewery does not produce?

Russian River Blind Pig.

What’s the most memorable travel destination at which you’ve had a chance to sample the local beer?

St. James’s Gate Brewery in  Dublin, Ireland.
