What’s your current position at your brewery, and how did you get started in the craft brewing industry?

We are co-owners of Great Storm Brewing in Colorado Springs, Colo.  Jeff is also head brewer.  Lynn serves and keeps the books. Jeff got interested in homebrewing and it eventually took over the kitchen, the garage, and his life.

What’s new at Great Storm?

We are expanding!  We just took over two additional units in our center and will be ramping up from a 1-barrel to a 10-barrel system.

What’s the best part of being a part of the craft brewing community?

The fact that it truly is a community with so many knowledgeable, passionate, and interesting people.

What do you like to do in your time away from the brewery?

Hiking and spending time with family.  We enjoy a rousing board game of an evening, too.

Name a favorite food and beer pairing.

Lynn loves barleywine with bread pudding and most any other dessert for that matter.

What’s your biggest accomplishment unrelated to brewing?

Twenty-five years of marriage and raising our beautiful, talented daughter.

What’s your favorite beer that your brewery does not produce?

Pliny the Elder (Jeff).

What’s the most memorable travel destination at which you’ve had a chance to sample the local beer?

We love eating and drinking at little pubs all over the UK.
