There are many excellent organizations that specialize in helping navigate HR issues that may arise including sexual harassment, addiction, alcoholism and mental health issues.  Below you’ll find a list of third party resources that provide expertise to help you navigate these sensitive and very important HR issues.

The Craft Beer HR group is an independent group comprised of 100+ HR professionals at 80+ craft breweries. The group connects industry HR practitioners to discuss some of the unique challenges facing small and independent craft breweries. Today, the group hosts an annual summit, collaborates with the Brewers Association on an industry-specific compensation and benefits survey, and serves as a network to answer common HR questions related to the brewing industry. Society for Human Resource Management

This is the widely-accepted certifying body for human resource professionals. There is a fee for membership and anyone can join.

Employee Assistance Programs

Employee assistance programs (EAP) are a way for employers to help employees who are experiencing personal issues like alcohol or substance abuse. Many EAPs now cover a broad range of issues and extend to an employee’s family. Many insurers offer affordable employee assistance programs as add-ons to your existing insurance. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
