The Brewers Association would like to inform all Export Development Program members of our next two Export Development Program activities: Braukunst Live! Festival 2015 in Munich, Germany and the 2015 Barcelona Beer Festival in Barcelona, Spain. This is our second time participating in both the Braukunst Live! Festival and the Barcelona Beer Festival.

Note Deadlines for both festivals: Contact Mark Snyder by Tuesday, February 10th if you plan to participate by sending beers for each festival. I will then contact the participating breweries on the amount of beer needed. Bottles and/or cans for Braukunst Live and one-way kegs only for Barcelona Beer Festival.

The BA’s participation in these events is funded by the Association’s Export Development Program.  EDP funds are used to sponsor a BA stand at the Festival, cover the costs of a consolidated shipment of beer to Germany and Spain, and registration costs for US brands in the festival.

Cost The BA will cover the registration cost and a consolidated shipment of beer from the Brewers Association warehouse to both Germany and Spain for Export Development Program members. We are transporting the beer via air freight.

Beer Required Please contact Mark Snyder if you are interested in sending beers – no later than Tuesday, February 10th. And If you plan to participate in person at either festival, please let me know. I will then contact the participating breweries on the beer quantity needed for each festival.

Barcelona, Spain March 13-15, 2015

The Barcelona Beer Festival is one of Spain’s largest trade and consumer shows, now in its fourth year.  The show runs from March 13-15, 2015.  This will be the BA’s second appearance at the Festival.  The BA will feature a range of beers, promoting the diversity and quality of American craft beers.  One-way kegs only.
