American craft beers with food: An amazing lunch at Alyn Williams, The Westbury
This was one of the most remarkable taste experiences I have had. A range of American craft beers was matched with a menu specially prepared by Alyn Williams, served in his restaurant in The Westbury hotel in London.
These beers were truly amazing, and simply tasting these would have been a great experience, but the skilled pairing of these thrilling beers with food showed what potential there is for high-end beers in the fine dining context.
The Brewers Association Export Development Program (EDP) is participating in the prestigious European Beer Star competition and the Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival competition, and invites BA members to join the EDP in these activities. Currently 26 BA EDP member breweries will be participating in the Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival by sending American craft beers, which will be judged in the competition, showcased at the festival and other events – promoting American craft beer.
We invite you to join us!
Through the EDP, the BA registers your beers in these competitions, pays to ship the beers overseas, and pays for all duties, taxes, fees. Showcases your beers at festivals, classes, beer and food pairings, etc. Your costs are the annual EDP membership, the cost of your beers and shipping your beers to the BA. And your winnings are a great way to promote your beers at home!
Due to deadlines, contact Mark Snyder today if you are interested in participating in these upcoming activities with the BA Export Development Program.
