About the Speaker

Simone Bellassai

Simone Bellassai, CDR FoodLab Division Manager

CDR s.r.l.

Simone Bellassai graduated with honors in Chemistry from the University of Florence in Italy in 2009, where he worked one year as a research fellow in the electrochemical department.

At the end of 2009 Simone joined the research and devleopment department at CDR s.r.l., company that develops and produces several analysis systems for the quality control of food and beverage. Since 2016 Simone has been working as division manager for CDR FoodLab, where he grew his experience in chemical analysis.

In 2016, Simone graduated with honors in Enology and Viticulture at the University of Florence. In 2018 he was published in Wines & Vines magazine with the article "Winemaking in the Era of Climate Change."
