In this seminar, Pulkit K. Agrawal, Jen Busch, and Mitch Steele will share their experiences and best practices for implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) at production facilities. As breweries scale up, there are three key areas to keep top of mind for their products—Quality, Efficiency, and Profitability. However, for many operators and owners, it can be difficult to know exactly what to do to get started with this analysis, or how to understand if these are the best practices for your brewery. Many times, the process data is tracked, but there isn’t a deep dive on how to actually use this data to understand the overall health of your brewery.

There three executives will dive deep on the five key principles for establishing your brewery’s health diagnostics, including setting up KPIs for different departments, collecting and analyzing the data, what actions to take to learn from the results, and the importance of re-measuring. They will then wrap up with some examples to help you take these concepts and turn them into action items to better understand your brewery’s health.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the processes and differences between poor and good data management
  • Learn how to build out KPIs for finance and cost of goods sold (COGS)
  • Explore the essential KPIs for process and quality optimization
  • Leave with best practices for weekly, fortnightly, and monthly team meetings necessary for root cause analysis on positive and negative trends
