This seminar will review merchant carbon dioxide (CO2) demand by end users in the food, beverage, cannabis, and other industries in the U.S. and explore the drivers of demand. The speaker will provide an overview of the CO2 supply chain, including producers, capacities, sources, and trends, and will present a five-year supply-and-demand outlook.
Learning Objectives:
- Get to know the end-use shares of CO2 demand
- Explore where craft brewers fit into the CO2 demand and supply chain puzzle
- Learn about the sources of merchant CO2 including some of the new sustainable sources coming into the supply chain to replace traditional sources
- Understand the impact of the regulatory environment on future CO2 supply, including the effect of carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) government tax credits on the security of future supply
