Maria Pearman, CPA, provides accounting and advisory services to clients in the food and beverage industry. She is an expert in the beverage alcohol industry and specializes in internal accounting processes, financial reviews, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financial strategy, and mergers and acquisitions.
Published by Brewers Publications in 2019, Maria's top-rated book, Small Brewery Finance: Accounting Principles and Planning for the Craft Brewer, helps small businesses run more successful breweries. In 2022 she produced Distillery Finance, which was published by the American Distilling Institute.
Maria is also a featured speaker and author on topics in the beverage space, specifically related to craft breweries. She has taught courses at the Business of Craft Beer Professional Program at the University of Vermont, Portland State University, and the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States Academy.
Maria graduated from the College of Charleston where she received a Bachelor of Arts in arts management and a minor in French. She received her Post Baccalaureate in accounting from Linfield College.
