When COVID-19 hit in 2020, taprooms as we knew them changed forever. While the goal still remains to sell as much beer as safely as possible, the methods must be reimagined and reconsidered. Over the course of the pandemic, the importance of business acumen has risen to the forefront of any taproom management and ownership. Moreover, the ability to innovate within a moment’s notice is a vital skill for success. You must not only adapt, react, re-evaluate, and truly disrupt to withstand a crisis, but also combine age-old business philosophies with new strategies to survive long-term. We will look into what we learned, strategies that worked, and how we are now even better prepared to create the most successful customer experience.

Learning Objectives:

  • How to use and maximize your online presence to continue to engage with customers and create revenue
  • Methods to engage with guests when traditional methods are not an option
  • Valuable strategies to create memorable customer experiences even during the winter months
  • Innovative ideas to build your brand loyalty and emerge from the pandemic even stronger
