About the Speaker
Matt Stinchfield, Author
Matt Stinchfield (he/him) is a career occupational safety and health expert, and author of Brewery Safety: Principles, Processes, and People (Brewers Publications, 2023). For seven years he was the Brewers Association (BA) Safety Ambassador and is in his 11th year as a member of the BA Safety Subcommittee. Matt is a frequent speaker at conferences, state guilds, and webinars. He is lead instructor for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)-funded Hazard Reduction Practices for Cleaning Draught Beer Lines course. Matt offers safety coaching to beverage manufacturers and their insurers. He designed and operated an award-winning 15-barrel packaging brewpub. In his spare time, Matt enjoys foraging mushrooms and wrangling trout.
