What’s your current position at your brewery, and how did you get started in the craft brewing industry?

I’m the head brewer at Center Pivot Restaurant & Brewery in Quinter, Kansas. We just opened on December 17.

What’s new at Center Pivot?

We offer Cracked Pepper Cream Ale as our house brew. We also feature many Kansas craft brews via kegs, cans, or bottles.

What’s the best part of being a part of the craft brewing community?

The people and the beer!

Name a favorite food and beer pairing.

A medium rare steak, potato, and Cracked Pepper Cream Ale, plus a Krispy Kreme doughnut for dessert.

What’s your biggest accomplishment unrelated to your job?

Finding my soulmate and wife all in one!

What’s your favorite beer from another brewery?

Big Money Orange Cream IPA from Defiance Brewing (Hays, Kansas).

What do you like to do in your time away from the brewery?

Be outside.

What’s the most memorable travel destination at which you’ve had a chance to sample the local beer?

My wife and I sitting outside Great Divide (Denver) with a Yeti Imperial Stout and fresh pizza from the Basic Kneads pizza truck.
