American Homebrewers Association ‘Hill Staff Homebrew Competition’to Crown the Best Homebrewer in the District at Awards Reception

What

A brewing battle on Capitol Hill. The American Homebrewers Association® (AHA) presents the third annual Hill Staff Homebrew Competition, celebrating the comradery, community and bipartisanship of beer. Individuals and groups of Capitol Hill staffers alike have submitted their beers for the chance to receive the coveted Capitol Hill Staff Homebrew Champion Trophy. Who

AHA founder and the “Godfather of Homebrewing” Charlie Papazian, AHA director Gary Glass, certified beer judges and professional brewers, Capitol Hill homebrewers and participants.

Notable competition entrants include: the offices of U.S. Senators Ben Cardin (D-MD), Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and Ron Wyden (D-OR), Dan Sullivan (R-AK) and the offices of U.S. Representatives Steny Hoyer (D-MD), Bruce Poliquin (R-ME), and Brad Wenstrup (R-OH).
