Bucher Denwel

Friedrich Banke is the senior consultant for brewing at Bucher Denwel in Germany. He has been in the brewing and food industry since 1992 in various positions at Steinecker/Krones, Dairy Weihenstephan, Pall GmbH, BrauKon GmbH, banke GmbH and Bucher Denwel GmbH, during which time he has developed technologies for grist milling, brewhouse equipment, energy management, hopping techniques, beer filtration, and dealcoholization. He has also been involved in research in brewing fields such as milling, mashing, lautering, wort boiling, energy management, yeast vitalization, beer filtration, and beer recovery from surplus yeast, and he is the inventor and coinventor for more than 30 patents.
