This Foundations of Management for Breweries online course is designed to provide you with the tools and knowledge needed to be successful as a people manager in your brewery. The training lays the groundwork for fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and values-driven team by covering a variety of topics, from understanding your leadership style to increasing engagement and ensuring legal compliance. Additionally, it will provide you with practical guidance on navigating the full employee life cycle with tangible and easy-to-implement solutions.

Join the Online Cohort

When: September 21, 2026 at Noon MT

BA members who take this course have the opportunity to attend an interactive online session that expands on the Foundations of Management for Breweries course. Under the guidance of the Brewers Association HR Director Holly Haslam, attendees of the online session will be placed in a ~30-person cohort of brewery industry peers and have the opportunity to work with and learn from each other.

Interested BA members can apply for the cohort using this form. The application period closes on August 17, 2026.

Note: People will be accepted into cohorts on a first-come, first-served basis. Applying does not guarantee acceptance. A BA representative will reach out to accepted applicants with more information and a suggested course completion date. There will be a waitlist if demand exceeds the cohort size.
