Maple Landmark Acquires Green Mountain Tap Handles
Bringing the Company Back to Vermont and
 Strengthening Its Growing Tap Handle Business

 

 Middlebury, VT — August 18, 2025 — Maple Landmark, the Middlebury-based manufacturer of American-made wooden products, is excited to announce the acquisition of Green Mountain Tap Handles, of Hinsdale, NH, from founder Jason Gardner. This acquisition marks the return of Green Mountain Taps to its Vermont origins and further strengthens Maple Landmark’s presence in the custom tap handle market — a segment the company has expanded over the past dozen years.

Well known for American-made wooden toys, gifts, and custom wood products since 1979, Maple Landmark first ventured into tap handle production more than 20 years ago. Since then, the company has developed a dedicated line of handcrafted tap handles for breweries, cideries, and other beverage companies, earning a reputation for quality craftsmanship and responsive, customer service.

The acquisition allows Maple Landmark to expand its tap handle capabilities and product lines while continuing to support Green Mountain Tap Handles’ loyal clientele. Production will be integrated at Maple Landmark’s Middlebury facility, ensuring seamless service and enhanced offerings for breweries, beverage companies, and distributors nationwide.
