Trade Deal with Canada Reportedly Halves Aluminum Tariff
Bloomberg News is reporting that the tentative trade deal between the US and Canada will cut aluminum tariffs in half from 50% to 25%. The US imports the majority of its primary aluminum from Canada, so it is likely that this would flow through into lower domestic pricing. The BA will provide more information on any official deal as it is available.
