The comment period on proposed rules mandating alcohol facts and content information, and mandatory disclosure requirements for the nine major allergens (milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, wheat, peanuts, soybeans, and sesame) has been extended by 120 days to August 15, 2025. These two rulemaking projects remain active even after the March withdrawal of the proposed ingredient labeling rulemaking.

The Brewers Association (BA) plans to submit comments just prior to the deadline, including feedback from our members to build upon our comments and testimony previously submitted to the TTB.

The BA continues to work hard to ensure that the voices of small and independent producers are heard in order to protect their interests.
