The Brewers Association will again hold export presentations with lunch and a reception at this year’s Great American Beer Festival® (GABF). USDA representatives will speak on the beer markets in Brazil, Chile, Peru and Vietnam, and trade members from these and other markets will be in attendance. Following the presentations, there will be a reception for networking and socializing. Lunch will be provided during the session.

The presentations and reception are open to brewers, international craft beer importers, distributors, retailers, and members of the media attending GABF. Those wishing to attend either the presentations and reception must register here.

  • Vo Than Kiet, Agricultural Marketing Specialist, USDA | Foreign Agricultural Service, U.S Embassy Vietnam

Fabiana Fonseca, Alvaro Loza and Vo Than Kiet will talk about recent trends in the Latin America and Vietnam trade and the growing demand among consumers for specialty products. The discussion will include an overview of the market, and increased interest toward craft beer, distribution, obstacles, and what lies ahead for suppliers to the market.

Reception

This year, the presentations will run 10-15 minutes each followed by Q&A to allow more time for networking and socializing afterward. Lunch will be provided to all guests, and a selection of beer will be on hand. This will be a great opportunity for brewers and international importers/distributors to connect.
