The Brewers Association is again planning to hold an export presentation and discussion at this year’s Great American Beer Festival, with a great line-up of speakers and we know you won’t want to miss it! The BA has planned for discussions covering Hong Kong with Laurie Goldberg from AmeriCraft Imports there, and on Europe with the BA’s Craft Beer Ambassador, Andreas Fält.
The Export Development Program session will take place on Friday October 12th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Colorado Convention Center in the “BREWERS STUDIO PAVILION “. To locate the “BREWERS STUDIO PAVILION” Go to the Brewers Registration Area (Hall F/Upper Lobby). We will have people there to direct/escort you to the reception. It is best if you are there no later than 1:45pm.
Laurie Goldberg – Managing Director at AmeriCraft Imports in Hong Kong will discuss recent trends in the Hong Kong trade and how her company is importing American craft beers to satisfy growing demand among consumers for specialty products. The discussion will include promotional plans, sales information, and other facets of the growing exposure American craft beers are receiving in Hong Kong.
Andreas Fält – Brewers Association European Craft Beer Ambassador, is charged with educating the beer community and media in Europe about the availability and quality of American craft beer. Demand for US craft beers in Europe is strong. Andreas will discuss his recent work on behalf of the BA and the U.S. craft beer industry as well as other issues including trade leads, new competitions, and the craft beer scene in general.
A selection of beer along with some light appetizers will be on hand for those interested in a drink following the discussion.
