Awards have been announced for the inaugural Brussels Beer Challenge. Congratulations to the American craft breweries winning 37 awards!  Gold: 13, silver: 11 and bronze: 13 awards.  American craft breweries also took 6 honorable mentions.

The competition promoted the beer industry in a market that is not only a benchmark for beer but also home to connoisseurs. This inaugural competition drew an impressive field of competitors and judges from around the world.  There were 40 judges, who judged over 500 beers in 46 categories from 16 different countries.  Out of 138 possible awards, only 112 were awarded with 18 honorable mentions.
