EDP members are invited to join a consolidated shipment supporting coordinated marketing and educational initiatives across Southeast Asia—one of the world’s fastest-growing craft beer regions.
Launched in 2025, the Southeast Asia program has already:
- Activated Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia
- Reached 25,000+ trade and consumer attendees
- Generated new importer relationships and brand advocacy
- Established the region’s first coordinated, multi-market U.S. craft beer activation calendar
The 2026 program builds on this momentum with expanded markets, refined activations, and in-market cold storage to ensure optimal product quality throughout the program.
Program Markets & Key Events
Beer Asia—led by craft beer veterans Christopher Roberts and Oliver Woods—will serve as the EDP’s regional partner, coordinating in-market storage, logistics, and promotional activity. Featured 2026 activations include:
Tianmu Beer Festival — Taiwan
Taiwan’s largest craft beer, food, and music festival, featuring hundreds of international breweries and strong trade attendance. A high-visibility platform for U.S. breweries entering or expanding in Taiwan.
American Craft Beer & BBQ Festival & Trade Mission — Thailand
Thailand is Southeast Asia’s largest craft beer market, driven by premiumization and rising demand for imported products. Activities include:
- Beer & food festival (in partnership with U.S. food export organizations)
- Chef-led pairings and demonstrations
- Targeted importer and buyer engagement. Brewery representative travel is being explored.
Brewnanza — Singapore
One of Asia’s most influential beer festivals, held at Marina Bay Sands.
American Craft Beer Experience — Malaysia
Malaysia: Building on the success of last year’s event, which drew over 500 attendees in a single day, the 2026 program will return as The American Craft Beer Experience – Malaysia, with plans to expand to a two-day format to deepen importer engagement and broaden trade and retail participation in a fast-developing premium beer market.

- Opportunistic activations enabled by in-market cold storage
