Chris Swersey has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to beer and brewing. With more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, he has explored the diverse world of hops in all product formats, won awards at the WBC and GABF, served as Supply Chain Specialist and Technical Brewing Projects Manager for the US Brewers Association, and judged the WBC, GABF, Brussels Beer Challenge, Euro Beer Star, South Beer Cup, the Indies, and the AIBAs. Some would say he’s well versed in raw material and beer sensory.

Jeff Dailey, Sensory Manager
John I. Haas
Jeff Dailey is the Sensory Manager at John I. Haas in Yakima, Washington, where he leads sensory panels evaluating experimental hops, innovative products, and harvest lots. Since joining in 2019, Jeff developed the Sensory Plus™ quality control system and pioneered methods for detecting smoke taint and tracking the chemical and sensory shelf life of hop products. His work has been key in launching new hop varieties like Talus and Krush and products such as LUPOMAX and Euphorics.

Amaey Mundkur, National Accounts Sales Manager
John I. Haas
Amaey Mundkur is the National Accounts Sales Manager at John I. Haas, helping craft breweries with hop solutions and innovation. He began brewing in 2003, earned a BSc from Penn State, and worked as a technical brewer at SABMiller India. He holds a Master’s in Brewing and Distilling from Heriot-Watt University and has advised breweries on sensory training at AROXA/Cara Technology. Amaey is Vice President of the American Society of Brewing Chemists, a member of the MBAA, and a judge for the World Beer Cup and Great American Beer Festival.
