The Brewers Association would like to inform all Export Development Program members of our next activity, the 2017 Vancouver Craft Beer Week Festival.
The Export Development Program will host a pavilion to showcase an assortment of U.S. craft beers at the Vancouver Craft Beer Week Festival (VCBW), June 3-4 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Beers will be collected in Puyallup, Wash. (outside of Seattle) and shipped as a consolidated shipment to the event. Beer samples due to the Washington State warehouse by Tuesday, May 9, 2017.
Pacific National Exhibition
2901 East Hastings Street
Only kegs are allowed at this outside 2-day festival: MicroStar kegs, one-way kegs or your own kegs (that your importer takes possession after the festival). Each brewery can send up to 4 kegs. Please send only smaller size kegs, such as sixtels. If your importer will be at the festival, please let us know.
MicroStar BA EDP Partner for the VCBW
The BA has an agreement with MicroStar for this event and so MicroStar kegs are permitted. MicroStar kegs are even an option for breweries that do not have an agreement with Microstar. After the VCBW Festival, all MicroStar kegs will be returned to Puyallup, WA to go back into the MicroStar float.
MicroStar will coordinate directly with interested breweries to meet their keg needs
- Current customers can pull from their existing inventory of MicroStar kegs. MicroStar will notify you of the steps for reporting your shipment out.
- For all interested non-customers, the BA will provide your address to MicroStar and empty kegs (sixtels) will be delivered to you, for your shipment to the Washington State warehouse.
If you need empty MicroStar kegs sent to you, fill out this registration form now – delivery time is up to 2 weeks. [MicroStar kegs can no longer be requested – you can still send your own MicroStar kegs – they will be returned after the festival to the USA.]
